My Journal will be about all the trials and tribulations I meet as I make my own plodding way through life...
Naturally it will have a lot to do with my own interests and I will probably comment a lot about anime, so if you don't like anime, there's really no point in you reading this. Not to say I'm against friends who share other interests, but just to forewarn you that if you add me to your f-list don't expect my comments to be full of riveting details about well, anything...
If you want to know a bit about me, I'm 23 years old. Female. Single. I don't smoke, I don't drink alcohol or take drugs, but I do consume copious amounts of chocolate! I live in Scunthorpe (for my sins...) in the Great British Isles, though I prefer to be known as English (we all get to be patriotic every now and then!).
I studied at Lancaster University for my BSc degree in Ecology and also spent a year studying abroad in Canada at UBC (the University of British Columbia). My greatest wish at the moment is to travel to Japan as am currently obsessed with both anime and the Japanese language which I am trying to teach myself (with minimum degree of success...)!
I'm not especially outgoing; I tend to hibernate at home a lot, but it's a small character flaw. I comment as much as I can which hasn't been often enough lately, especially with small annoyances such as bad internet connection in my area...
I now have my own community, which I try to keep up-to-date with anime conversation topics - there's nothing more annoying than searching for communities and only finding ones where the last post was from June 2005... Anyone interested in anime is welcome, just join up and post your own conversation topic when there's something you want to talk about! Just click on the picture below!!!

I love posting my fanart on there, sometimes I'll go through drawing crazes and post about 6 pics at once!! Favourite drawing subjects at moment are loveless characters, also liking Saiyuki, but can't draw that as well!
